Transportation

"Increased integration of the transportation sector between Canada, the US and Mexico is essential in reducing dependance on foreign suppliers."
witan nook, 2023

Efficient rail connectivity facilitates the transportation of goods and resources across the North American continent, reducing reliance on overseas imports. By strengthening rail infrastructure and promoting cross-border trade, the whole of North America can tap into its regional resources and bolster domestic supply chains.

Our long-term vision is to grow and leverage our network of North American companies to increase logistically efficiencies between production and manufacturing hubs - turning North America into both an extraction and  manufacturing leader of the green transition.

Enhanced rail integration fosters economic cooperation and interdependence which enables efficient movement of raw materials, such as minerals, ores, and agricultural products, which are essential for for economic independence and continental strength. By reducing transportation costs and streamlining logistics, rail connectivity promotes competitiveness and supports the development of value-added manufacturing processes within the region.

Also, increased integration in the transportation sector reduces carbon emissions and environmental impacts associated with long-distance transportation. Rail transportation is generally more energy-efficient and emits fewer greenhouse gases compared to other modes of transport. By prioritising rail connections, these countries can align their sustainability goals with economic development, minimising their carbon footprint and promoting greener transportation alternatives.
